Green Energy: Hidrokinetic Turbines

The alternative energy generation program started in the early 80s at the University of Brasilia. Later LEA, Energia LTDA and TipoD along with other partners and sponsors began to optimize the technology.

The G1 and G2 are the 1st models, nowadays the G3 is near the end of development.

Thanks man! We keep optimizing this machine all the time!

Looks great. One of the challenges to hydro power is its ability to cause
less impact to water organisms down to micron levels, for example fish eggs
and naupli (juvenile invertebrates). Once this has been achieved, we will
have a true near 0 ecological impact.

1kwh to 3kwh doesnt make sense. Do you mean 1kw to 3kw?

1’06” in, you write kWh. You mean kW. You should know the difference.

Good idea, though a big screen on the front might keep the fish from
    getting in at all…

I’d rather have a wing that is on a jig to change angles at certain heights
and depths. The current pushes it up and down. The movement would push
pistons that turn a turbine that’s outside of the water. You don’t change
the river, you remove the risk of killing fish and it costs a lot less to
    implement and produce.

Many people forget about all the huge bridges and could use a the pillars
with a rail going up and down with weights and float. This would be so easy
to do. I have talked to many ministries about what can be done, of course
the first nations, all rail road and highway department that would have to
be settled, I think is is a terrific source of energy that could reach many
community’s in very rural areas, along with supplying camps and such. I am
having a problem finding companies to invest.

OK, so, what is the output of such turbine? how many turbines do we need to
power one House? How many to power a town? a City? Be realist, nuclear
fusion and antimatter are the future, not wind and water!!

@ Jakub Mleczak it says its does anywhere from 1-3kwh the average house
uses 908 kw a month(In the United states). So say that averages 2kwh it
would make 1440 kw a month. So one of these would power 1.5 houses.

Have you modeled anything along the lines of Viktor Schauberger’s vortexian
flows and the spiral movement of water across egg shapes.
